Ringo Studio

Ringo Studio designs visionary environments where the customer journey is as strategically considered as the architecture that embodies it. A deep understanding of the consumer engagement model drives the studio’s commitment to physically putting stories together where the brand experience lives and breathes within every touchpoint.

Founded by architectural designer Madelynn Ringo, the NYC based studio prioritizes developing eye-opening, beautiful spaces and articulating nuanced experiences that cull an emotional response. With great respect for impactful architecture and storied design, the studio embarks on every project with an urge to formulate spatial solutions and invest in holistic experimentation to evolve the singular vision to life.

Ringo’s expertise in the experiential marketplace includes retail environments for Bala, Glossier, Studs, and Funny Face Bakery, among other immersive spaces for inspiring cultural, lifestyle and wellness brands. Ringo Studio is a creative collective of architecture and design talent where collaboration and inventive exploration of brand identity is a shared obsession.

Madelynn Ringo

Madelynn Ringo is an architectural designer who scales brand identities to life with feel-good originality. With an insatiable passion for problem-solving and high regard for heartbeat moments, Ringo creates storied environments expressed within a formidable architectural framework. She specializes in designing experiential spaces that resound with purposeful beauty.  With a strategic approach, her design process engages the entire customer journey, allowing the brand experience to live and breathe within every touchpoint.

Ringo founded Brooklyn-based Ringo Studio in 2020 with a focus on collaborative exploration, collective solutions and a strong belief in spaces that resonate. “Changing people’s perspectives about what can be beautiful, not simply operational, is one of the most compelling aspects of my work,” says Ringo. “Experience without exclusivity is the ultimate aspiration.”

Ringo received her Architecture Master’s degree from Yale University and employs her classical training through an intuitive lens that celebrates beauty and architecture as an experiential artform. Her sculptural approach to space powers Ringo’s adventurous use of texture, form, materials and color, pushing functionality into a realm of convention-breaking appeal.

Previously, Ringo served as the creative lead on retail experiences for Glossier, designing locations in Miami, Boston, Austin, and Atlanta.  She also served as the Head of Studio design for the healthcare brand Modern Age, leading the design strategy and physical customer experience for their New York clinics. Iconic interiors and immersive customer experiences for brands such as Our Place, Contact Sports, Funny Face Bakery, Bala and Studs are among her portfolio of designs for beauty, wellness, and culturally inclusive lifestyle brands.
